Oner Network has created a faster, cheaper, more accessible approach to global payments.

It’s developed a new payment-infrastructure system, built by experts from Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, IBM, Oracle, and Citibank. It’s a system the company describes as “the universal financial network for humans and Artificial Intelligence (AI).”

Oner created this system to reduce the time and costs associated with making payments. Consider the various fees and headaches that are attached to the current process. For example:

Credit card payments come with a 2% or 3% transaction fee charged to merchants. Wire-transfer fees can be as much as $50. Meanwhile, transfers between bank accounts and international transactions can take as much as five business days to complete.

Now imagine being able to make any transaction almost instantaneously and for less than one cent. That’s what Oner’s network makes possible.

“People businesses, and AI agents need a faster, cheaper, always-on, globally connected, AI-native financial network,” said Semih Ergur, a director at Oner and former Vice President at Citibank.

With its system, Oner is targeting several massive markets. These include the $194 trillion market for cross-border payments, the trillion-dollar rewards and income economy, and the $236 billion AI Agent market.

Essentially, Oner’s system involves three core pillars:

The Network — Global, scalable, and compliant by design, enabling instant, low-cost transfers across previously fragmented networks.

The Products — A truly internet-native financial system, including the multi-issuer regulated digital dollar, a global card linked to that currency, and real-time cash back rewards.

The Model — Oner’s business model has multiple revenue streams, creating continuous and compounding value.

Said Oner co-founder Azim Ghader, “We’re not competing with Visa or Circle. We’re building the layer they’ll all plug into.”

Oner has developed its technology and is engaged with potential regulatory partners. Smart contracts have been audited and tested. Trademarks have been filed and patents are in the works. Now the company is raising funds to expand its partnership opportunities and put the finishing touches on its technology.
