The Greatest Transfer of Wealth in History

By Wayne Mulligan, on Thursday, August 4, 2016

Two years ago in this newsletter, I told you about an exciting technology trend.

At the time, a high-ranking government official had just called it “the greatest transfer of wealth in history.”

In my article, I wrote about how this trend would deliver enormous returns to early investors—and I told you about a specific start-up you could invest in.

Well, as it turns out, investors in that start-up just made a tidy profit.

Let me get you up to speed on all this—then I’ll tell you about a new start-up you can invest in today:

Not only is it taking advantage of the same exciting trend…

But it might deliver even bigger profits.

Chaos... And Opportunity

Cybercrime.

That’s the trend I wrote about two years ago.

Cybercrime is any crime that involves a computer or computer network.

Each year, such crimes cost U.S. corporations an estimated $250 billion. And globally, the cost is closer to $1 trillion.

If someone steals the password to your email account, or swipes a few files from your computer, that’s cybercrime.

But the greatest cyber threats don’t generally involve innocent citizens like you:

The greatest threats involve corporations and governments...

And that’s where the greatest investment opportunities are, too.

Large-Scale Cyber Attacks

Some cyber attacks are meant to inflict financial damage.

For example, when Facebook was attacked by a group of Chinese hackers, the damage quickly reached millions of dollars.

And just yesterday, when a bitcoin exchange called Bitfinex was hacked, criminals stole $70 million.

Other attacks involve stealing sensitive information.

Earlier this summer, for example, Russian hackers penetrated the computer network of the Democratic National Convention.

And last month it was disclosed that hackers from China broke into the FDIC, the governmental agency responsible for keeping our banking institutions solvent.

Unfortunately, these aren’t isolated incidents:

It’s estimated that 200 cyber attacks occur each minute.

Two years ago, right when this trend was coming into focus, I predicted that cyber security start-ups would soon be in high demand—and that their value would be on the rise.

At the time, one particular start-up caught my eye…

Fireblade

The company was called Fireblade.

Fireblade’s mission was simple enough: to protect websites from sophisticated cyber attacks.

But as I came to understand, its technology was anything but simple. It was incredible.

Back then, Fireblade was raising capital from individual investors like you…

That’s why I was writing about it, and in total, individuals ended up investing about $1.7 million.

Well, two weeks ago, those investors got some great news:

StackPath, a cyber security company based in Texas, acquired Fireblade.

The price tag?

Tens of millions of dollars.

The Next Fireblade?

You may have missed out on Fireblade, but not to worry:

The threat of cyber security is only increasing—and so are the opportunities to make money in this sector.

In fact, if you’d like a shot at getting in on the next Fireblade, you now have your chance.

You see, a new cyber security start-up just started raising money…

The name of the start-up is Kenna, and you can learn about it here »

To be clear, the Kenna opportunity is for accredited investors only.  But we’re also identifying cyber security investment opportunities for non-accredited investors.
