Next Wednesday, February 28th, the Rangers take on the Dodgers...
And you have a chance to throw the first pitch.
This is for real.
For details — and to learn how to potentially make a 270% return from this setup — read on.
How to Invest in the “Next” Pelé
As I explained last week, opportunities have recently emerged for investors like us to share in the huge paydays of professional athletes.
One such opportunity is from a new company called Finlete.
On this Comcast NBC-backed platform, you can invest in promising young athletes — and hit a financial homerun if they’re successful.
Finlete aims to discover stars before they get big. When it finds one, it offers them a big lump-sum (say, $1 million) in exchange for a percentage of their future earnings. This is called a future-earnings deal.
For example, let’s say you invest in an up-and-coming baseball player…
If he signs an average three-year MLB contract, a $100 investment would turn into about $270 — good for a 270% return.
Launching This Week
Over the weekend, I received an email from Finlete.
The company announced that it’s planning to go live this week — on February 22nd.
Its first athlete is a rising star named Echedry Vargas, a baseball prospect from the Rangers.
Here’s a video that explains more about Vargas and the opportunity »
The Deal
Finlete is selling 97,000 “shares” of Vargas’ future earnings.
In brief, investors will own their pro-rata share of 10% of Vargas’ future MLB earnings.
Each share will sell for $8 each.
The minimum investment is 12 shares — so, $96.
Furthermore, as Finlete explained in the email I received over the weekend…
“… the investor with the most shares by 10pm on February 26th will earn the privilege of throwing the first pitch at the Rangers vs. Dodgers Spring Training Game in Surprise, AZ, on February 28th, as our special guest!”
This is an exciting opportunity…
But we’d urge you not to invest beyond your means just to put yourself in the running to throw the first pitch!
